10:00 Approximately we arrive at the El Rosario Sanctuary located a few kilometers from the Magic Town of Angangueo, The Rosario sanctuary is the largest and the most visited within the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. Every fall millions of butterflies arrive from the USA and Canada covering the oyameles in orange and black clusters, a unique sight in the world. The sanctuary is open between November and March, when the butterflies are concentrated here. During this trip we will be able to learn curious facts about the Butterfly, how butterflies are born, how long they live and why it is the longest-lived butterfly. Also because they travel from Canada to Mexico and you will witness the longest migration made by an insect on the face of the earth. We will take a walk up the stairs in the middle of the forest for approximately one hour and thirty minutes depending on the weather conditions, once we get to where the butterflies are, we will have free time to observe them and take some photographs.

Once up the mountain your guide will lead you to the viewpoints. The visit to the butterfly lasts about 18 minutes, a time that has been marked to allow everyone to contemplate this wonder without disturbing it. It is important to follow the guide's instructions, not to cross the bounded areas, not to smoke and not to make noise.

Later we will descend again from the sanctuary walking down the stairs for an hour and a half. At the end of the visit, you can rest and recharge in one of the restaurants in the square. Taste the corundas, the barbecue and the blackberries. You can also walk through the artisan corridor, where you will find all kinds of souvenirs: textiles, feathers, shirts, shawls. Free time
