Mexico City, Traditional day of the dead at Mixquic

Mixquic is a town that still preserves the tradition and the real essence of the day of dead, they traditionally commemorate this day with sawdust rugs and cempasúchil flowers, prehispanic dances y colorful altars. Dare yourself to know and to discover more about how locals spiritually receive their dead familiars and friends, it’s a unique and every year rite.

Meeting Point: 13:45hrs. – De la republica Avenue, Col. Tabacalera, in front of Jimenez Rueda theater (Very close to the Revolution Monument; back street of Barceló Reforma Hotel). The return is the same day to the meeting point around 23:59 hrs. (depends on the traffic).

Inclusions: Round transportation to the meeting point, English speaking assistance, visit to San Andres Apostol temple, Mixquic pantheon, “Alumbrada” show (When the candles are light up at the same time after sunset), commemorative chocolate skull, insurance travel, all taxes, box lunch which may contains:
