Kino Bay Tour leaving from Hermosillo

We will move from the city of Hermosillo to Kino Bay, considered one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in Sonora and even Mexico, where the sea, the fine sand and the desert mix. This bay of Sonora was named in honor of “Eusebio Francisco Kino”, who visited this beautiful site of Sonoran land during his evangelizing work in the 17th century, although long before Kino discovered this beautiful place the indigenous Seris * settled here, keeping alive its culture and traditions, we will visit a Seri indigenous community of Punta Chueca, very different from other Mexican ethnic groups because they remained far from the conquests and evangelization in the colony. Community members welcome us with some songs and we take short walks in the area. The Seris are the custodians of the largest island in Mexico, Isla Tiburon. Will be given free time at the beach of “Bahía de Kino” before returning to the city of Hermosillo.
Note: Wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen, hat or cap, change of clothes to rest on the beach and towel. /Seris: is an ethnic group that was established in the state of Sonora that continues through the ages.
