Surreal Garden in Xilitla and the Basement of "Las Huahuas" leaving from Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosi

We will visit the wonders that the Huasteca of San Luis Potosí offers us in this excursion leaving from Ciudad Valles that consists of a visit to the surrealist garden of “Edward James” that is a harmonious place integrated of nature and surrealist architecture.
The surrealist style garden consists of figures made in concrete, located in a kind of labyrinth; most of the structures imitate the nature of the garden, it is said that each of these forms has a meaning that reflects the idealistic, dreamy and surrealistic spirit of its creator.
Later we will go to the magical town of Xilitla, a town surrounded by mountains and an exuberant vegetation is 88 km from Ciudad Valles, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape that Xilitla can offer us, we will visit in Xilitla the Augustinian Convent that was built 1550 to 1557, recognized as a unique architectural gem of its kind for being the oldest religious building in San Luis Potosí.
To conclude this trip we will taste a typical regional dish and later on from Xilitla we will visit the basement of “las Huahuas” which is composed of a chasm of 70 m. in diameter and 478 m. of depth that serves as a sanctuary for thousands of birds that offer a majestic spectacle when they shelter at sundown.
Beautiful songs, exotic aromas and the intense green of its vegetation will captivate you. Later the return to Ciudad Valles will be made.
